I wanted to call this article HOW TO WIN YOUR PERSONAL JIHAD. To avoid any religious conversations i withdrew.
However do you know that the word ‘JIHAD’ comes from the Arabic word for ‘STRUGGLE’ Its a struggle against external oppressors that lead to violent JIHADS, Lets flip the script and have YOUR OWN INTERNAL JIHAD.
You have within your soul, your internal oppressors such as: LAZINESS, PROCRASTINATION, FEAR, LOW SELF BELIEF, JEALOUSY, AND A LACK OF ACTION. These oppressors prevent and oppress you from doing the things that can help you become all that you can be.
Some of you don’t stick to your exercise plan due to laziness and excuses, some of you don’t take massive action in the direction of your hopes due to procrastination i call them the ”I WILL DO IT TOMORROW’ People.
King Solomon said in Proverbs 16:32 ”He who rules his spirit has won a greater victory than taking a city”
Lao-tzu reminds us ” Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is power”
Buddha says ”One who conquers himself is greater than another who conquers a thousand men on the battlefield”
